

Bob Goldin
Bob Goldin is an Executive Vice President of Technomic, Inc. and Director of the Food Supplier Practice.
Bob is the founder and director of the firm’s iLab™, Customer Performance Appraisal Service, Distributor Intelligence Service, Foodservice Benchmarking Center, Takeout Packaging Consortium and Nutritrack programs. He was the lead consultant on Technomic’s major studies on health and nutrition and supply chain effectiveness and is the publisher of the 2008 Power Distributor report and co-creator of C-Max and PIMS.
Consulting/Research Experience
Bob has over 30 years of broad-based experience in the food industry as both a consultant/researcher and an industry executive. His 25 years of experience with Technomic have focused on strategic planning, distribution analyses and planning, financial evaluations and modeling, and customer satisfaction measurement and analysis; current emphases are health and nutrition and supply chain optimization. Bob works extensively in nontraditional channels, including club stores and convenience stores.
Industry Experience
Prior to joining Technomic, Bob was Executive Vice President of CFS Bakeries, a division of CFS Continental. While at CFS Continental, Bob also had management positions in corporate development and strategic planning. He began his career with Price Waterhouse & Co.

Bob has spoken at many company and trade association meetings and is frequently cited in business and trade publications, including Business Week, Chicago Tribune, Los Angeles Times, New York Times, Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, Fortune, Ad Age, and Time. He has appeared many times on CNN and CNBC business news programs, the Today Show and NPR’s Marketplace.
Education
Bob earned his Bachelor of Arts and Master of Business Administration degrees from the University of Chicago, where he serves on the College Visiting Committee. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
